Microaggressions are those subtle, often unnoticed slights that erode your self-esteem, destroy your working relationships, and affect your performance. They typically happen in circumstances where we expect to have support, e.g., at work or in supervisory relationships, and can be hard to recognise, especially if you're dealing with someone in power.
